1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AskReceipts ("the Service"), operated by Ecusoft LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AskReceipts is an AI-powered receipt tracking and expense management tool. You may upload receipt files (PDF or images), have them parsed by AI, ask questions about your spending history, set return deadline and spending reminders, and forward receipt emails to a personal inbox address for automatic processing. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with Free, Starter, and Pro tiers.

3. Beta Program

The Service is currently in a limited beta. Access requires submitting a request and receiving approval from our team. Beta access is granted at our sole discretion and may be revoked at any time. Features available during beta may change, be removed, or behave differently than described. By participating in the beta, you acknowledge that the Service may be incomplete and that you may encounter errors or interruptions.

4. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

• Free plan: Limited to a set number of receipt scans and AI queries per month at no charge.
• Paid plans (Starter / Pro): Billed monthly. Prices are shown on the Pricing page. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Email Forwarding Feature

When you use the email inbox feature, you are assigned a unique personal inbox address. By forwarding emails to that address, you grant us permission to receive, store, and process the full content of those emails (including body, subject, and attachments) for the purpose of extracting receipt data. You are responsible for forwarding only emails you have the right to share. Do not forward emails containing sensitive personal information unrelated to receipts.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal content or content you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI capabilities.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Circumvent plan limits or quotas through automated means.
• Forward emails to your inbox address that contain content belonging to third parties without their consent.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all receipt files and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your receipt data to train AI models.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-extracted receipt data may contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of parsed amounts, dates, or merchant names. Always verify important financial data independently.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ecusoft LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if we determine that suspension is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Suspended accounts will see a notice and may contact us at support@askreceipts.com to appeal. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination or deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
