How do I upload a receipt?

Go to the Receipts page and click Upload. You can upload PDF or image files (JPG, PNG). Our AI will scan and extract the merchant name, date, amount, and line items automatically.

How do I forward receipts by email?

Go to Manage Plan and copy your personal inbox address (e.g. receipts-abc123@askreceipts.com). Forward any receipt email to that address and it will be scanned and added to your account automatically — no manual upload needed.

How do I set up a return deadline or spending reminder?

Ask a question in the AI chat like "remind me before the return deadline for my Apple purchase" or "alert me when I spend more than $200 at Amazon this month". The AI will create the reminder for you. You can view and manage reminders from the chat.

How do I export my data?

Go to Manage Plan and click Download My Data. You will receive a ZIP archive containing all your receipts, extracted data, and chat history.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from Manage Plan. All your data (receipts, chat history, reminders, and files) will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Alternatively, email us at support@askreceipts.com and we will process the request within 5 business days.

What is the beta program?

AskReceipts is currently in a limited beta. New users must submit a request explaining how they plan to use the app. Our team reviews requests and sends an approval email. Once approved, you have full access to the app.

Why is my account suspended?

If your account has been suspended, you will see a notice when you try to sign in. This is usually due to a violation of our Terms of Service. To appeal, email us at support@askreceipts.com with your account email and we will review your case.

What file types are supported for upload?

We support PDF, JPG, and PNG files up to 15 MB each.

Is my receipt data used to train AI models?

No. Your receipt data is processed by AI models to extract information for you, but we do not use your data to train any AI models.

What are the plan limits?

The Free plan includes a limited number of receipt scans and AI queries per month. Starter and Pro plans increase those limits. See the Pricing section on the home page for current limits.
